While you are away, we will provide the same care your pets would receive if they were home.

• For dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs, we will encourage owners to let their pup participate in Day Care.   We let the dogs run, play, and chase their days away. For an additional charge you may let us allow your pet into the daycare play sessions.
• Special needs such and medications are included in the base price of boarding and no additional charges will be added for such needs."
• For dogs that prefer play without other dogs, personalized accommodations will be made upon request. We understand that not everyone is a social butterfly.
• If training is needed and time is an issue, Yips & Yaps can help with that too!  For just $30 we can have one of our professional trainers work with your dog twice a day for 30 minutes.  This means, for example, we can work with your pup on something like basic obedience skills and command while you are away!

We provide bowls and toys and Yips & Yaps, however, if your pup has a favorite toy or bone that they would like to bring and keep in their Guest Room for overnight, they can certainly do that.  They can also bring their bed or favorite blanket too.  Dogs that stay for seven or more days will receive a complementary bath at the spa before they go home.

While you are away, we will care for you pets just like they were at home. While pet parents are having a good time on a trip, their pets should be having a fun vacation in our pet resort too. The kennel at Yips and Yaps is not like a lot of other kennels.  While each pet does have their own private boarding kennel to sleep in, they have lots of time out of the kennel enjoying some of the pet resort play activite. For dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs, we encourage owners to let their pup participate in Doggie Day Care. We let the dogs run, play, and chase their days away. For an additional charge you may let us allow your pet into the daycare play sessions.  Special needs such and medications are included in the base price of boarding and no additional charges will be added for such needs.

• $20 for the first dog
• $20 for the second dog
• $15 for the third dog (all to be in the same kennel)
• $15 for the first cat
• $12 for the second cat
• $7.50 for a half day (3 hrs of play) w/ boarding
• $15 for a full day (6 hrs of play) w/ boarding

Full day of day care (6 hrs)  and any special needs such as treats, medications, or vitamins that you bring for your pet are included.

For those that prefer play without other dogs, personalized boarding accommodations will be made upon request. We understand that not everyone is a Social Butterfly! If your pet would prefer not to play in day care but rather be let out multiple times a day alone with our staff, the cost is just $20 per pet.

Being more of a pet resort, we have kennel bowls and toys at Yips & Yaps, but if your pup has a favorite toy or bone that they would like to bring and keep in their Guest Room for overnight, they can do that, they also can bring their bed or favorite blanket too.  We do ask that owners not bring bowls for their pet’s food and water while in boarding.  We have plenty for everyone, and we would sure hate to have a ceramic bowl break or mix your metal bowl in with the Yips and Yaps boarding bowls.

Dogs that stay in our boarding kennel for seven or more days will receive a complementary bath at the spa before they go home. Boarding kennel charges are billed at 4pm, as long as your pet is picked up from boarding by 4pm, you are NOT charged for that day’s kennel stay.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of your precious pooch and all of our canine clients. Owners must provide proof of current DHLPP vaccination (and rabies if your dog is old enough). Bordetella vaccination is also required. All dogs who stay in our boarding kennel must be in good health. Owners are required to certify their dogs are in good health and have not had a communicable condition within the last 10 days. All dogs must be free from any condition that may jeopardize other canine clients. Owners are required to certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs. We understand that rough and tumble play is not aggression and the “rough and rowdy” dogs will placed in appropriate play groups.

All pets should be flea and tick free. Pets showing signs of fleas and/or ticks will be treated at our grooming station at the pet parent's expense prior to check-in.

Our goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible. We strive to know your pet and with our smaller, intimate environment, this is definitely how we stand out from our competitors. Our accommodations are large, safe and clean.

Please note: If you wish to avoid incurring another nights stay, your pet must be picked up before 4:30pm.  Any pet picked up after 4:30pm will be charged for an additional nights stay.

If your pet is going to stay longer than 10 days - Extended Stay discounts available upon request.  Please ask about our extended stay discount when making reservations!
