Doggy Day CareWhy Doggy Day Care? Do you feel guilty leaving their dogs at home for long hours while you are at work, or gone for long hours running errands? Yips and Yaps' Doggy Day Care provides a fun filled day of dog gone fun for your pup. All dogs must undergo play-testing and approval by our staff to participate in group play day care. Play-testing can be done on the first day of day care. If day care staff determines that your dog is not ready for group play, don't worry! Your precious pooch will have suite care and regular alone play time for that day. We will also assess whether a slow introduction to group play day care is appropriate for your dog.
Doggie Day Care sessions are 8am to 11 am for the morning and 1pm to 4pm for the afternoon session
Often when you come home after a long day of work, especially in younger dogs and smaller breed dogs, do you find your dog has relieved itself inside the home or kennel? If you have a larger breed dog can he or she be destructive and difficult to handle due to built up energy from a long day of sleeping and confinement? Big or Small, leaving your pooch home all day means long ‘hold it times’ and a rowdy and frustrated greeting when you return home. Many dogs experience separation anxiety when left alone during the day. They may destroy home furnishings, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop and generally get very stressed out. Others may become overweight and unhealthy. Dog Daycare can be a tremendous help to these dogs and their owners. By bringing a dog to our doggy day care, you can feel better about what your dog is doing while you are away. Dogs are pack animals that thrive in a social environment with other dogs. Doggie day care gives your dog the opportunity to interact with other dogs, while still being supervised Being at Yips and Yaps Doggie Day Care entertains your for legged family member by letting them play and socializing with other canines. Our number one priority is the health and safety of your precious pooch and all of our canine clients. Owners must provide proof of current DHLPP vaccination (and rabies if your dog is old enough). Bordetella vaccination is also required. All dogs who attend the Day Care must be in good health. Owners are required to certify their dogs are in good health and have not had a communicable condition within the last 10 days. All dogs must be free from any condition that may jeopardize other canine clients. Owners are required to certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs. We understand that rough and tumble play is not aggression and the “rough and rowdy” dogs will placed in appropriate play groups.
We are committed to providing a fun and safe environment for your pet. We carefully evaluate your dog in several different areas and use that information |
